Sun In My Eyes contains drawings, painting and mural. The works are a combination of abstraction and referential components.
The visual universe seek to make a connection between the state of consciousness and one of sleep. A transient condition where reality plunges into the surreal of a dream. Hege Liseth is interested in the different layers of experiencing what is real and what is unreal. The paintings consist of many interrelated layers, and through a myriad of forms and a fantastic ability to deal with light, new landscapes arise and the viewer is drawn in towards the core of a different reality and a mood of otherworldliness.
