Hege Liseths paintings, drawings and animation appear in a coherent visual universe of simple elements as the circle, or fragments of natural forms. It seems like structures of nature, atoms and cells are combined in new ways. A homage to nature and our physical universe – the building blocks of all solid and well-known that we can hold in our hands and that our bodies consist of. Matter is known to be mostly empty space. What does this say about the reality of the world? The work reflects on some basic constituents of our existence. Through a myriad of forms in transparent paint, new landscapes arise and the viewer is drawn in towards the core of a different reality.
